Conifers Nursing Home is located in Wombwell, near Barnsley.
We are a duel registered nursing and residential home where care is provided for individuals over the age of 55 with a variety of health and social care needs.
Our nursing home has 28 bedrooms where we can accomodate both long stay needs and short respite care periods.
To provide the highest standard of care possible to each service user, we take a person-centered approach; planning care around the needs and wishes of the individuals who use our service. And we get to know our residents as individuals, not just service users.
Conifers Nursing Home provides a safe, comfortable and homely living environment for our residents. We maintain the highest possible standards of compassion, dignity and respect.
Our team is extremely hard working, friendly and approachable where nothing is too much.. Our staff build strong, trusting relationships with our residents, leaving individuals to feel safe and comfortable in their living environment that we like to call home.

My grandmother, aunt and father spent their last days here and my mum is in her 11th year. I have found this home to be excellent with caring and compassionate staff who go the extra mile for their residents and families. The home is always clean and smelling fresh and the staff are cheerful and welcoming.
I have been able to entrust my loved ones into their care, especially through lockdown, with no worries.
