The nursing home is situated near a main bus route that provides public transport to both Wombwell and Barnsley town centres. A bus route also travels out to Rotherham town centre.
The care and nursing home is within a 20 minutes’ walk of Cortonwood retail park and just 5 minutes’ walk from the Trans-Pennine trail.

A very caring and loving home, my grandmother is 99 years old and has been at conifers for a few years, she is well and truly looked after, the staff are very professional funny and loving, always full of laughter. My grandmother has always had a good appetite and can’t wait for her meals!! They have great entertainments for the residents. Always feel very welcoming when visiting my grandmother.
